About the Tutor
Lessons taught by Sharon Robinson, she is a Creative Womenswear and Menswear Pattern Cutter with over twenty five years experience working for designers such as Victoria Beckham, Roksanda, Gieves and Mother of Pearl, also brands and high street retailers. She has cut patterns for all garment types from evening wear to tailored garments and soft separates in woven fabrics or jersey. Her patterns are developed through draping on the stand, flat pattern cutting with blocks or draping completely from scratch.
She began teaching over twenty years on short courses at London College of Fashion and then went on to teach on their Ba Fashion course.
For the past fifteen years she been working as an Associate Lecturer on The Ba Womenswear Fashion course at Central St Martins.
